K-12 Public Schools
There are six school districts within Schoharie County: Cobleskill-Richmondville,
Middleburgh,
Schoharie,
Sharon
Springs, Jefferson and
Gilboa-Conesville.
All six of the districts have met or exceeded the national average for students going on to a two year college. Four of the six districts have average SAT scores which exceed the national average by over 9%.
Training and Education Programs
SUNY
Cobleskill, and Schoharie County Vo-Tech offer a number of general and customized training programs for area employers.
The Schoharie County Education and Training Coalition provides customized training for employers as requested. Programs have included forklift driver training for a new distribution center, computer training for small businesses, management training for the local hospital and customer service training for local retailers.
