Home of the Oldest fossil trees in the world! Gilboa was the largest town in Schoharie County in the late 1800's and was sacrificed for New York City's water supply.

Museum open Saturday, Sunday, and Monday 12:00 noon to 4:30 p.m. beginning July 5th through Labor Day. Open also October 11, 12, & 13.

Fossil stumps also on view year round on Route 990V across the Schoharie River bridge just before the town office and post office.
