Annual Dinner a Huge Success!
First
of all, the Chamber would like to thank
everyone who attended or otherwise contributed to the annual dinner on
March 3. Like many other businesses in the county this past year, the
Chamber had to face some difficult economic circumstances, tighten its
belt and move forward, so it was particularly heartening to experience a
full house-about 150 people were there, including our assemblyman,
Peter Lopez, Nick Viggiano, who represents Congressman Paul Tonko, the
new Chair of the County Board of Supervisors, Harold Vroman, the
president of SUNY Cobleskill, Dr. Donald Zingale, and the CEO of
Cobleskill Regional Hospital, Eric Stein. Senator Jim Seward sent his
regrets,as he truly does hate to miss our annual dinner-so
we promised that next time we would make certain there would be no
conflicts for him when we set the date.
